3 heart throbbing moments <br /> <br />The testing <br />The waiting <br />The emotions <br />My heart pounding <br />Shock waves against my stomach <br />Fear or no fear <br />Like a boat rocking and having seasickness <br />Hoping that every test is negative <br />Finally the doctor says all is well with baby <br />and again back to ease <br /> <br />Happy and sometimes scared <br />For the butterfly’s cocoon <br />The stomach moves with intensity <br />As baby boy kicks constantly and joyfully <br />He also presses more inside her cocoon <br />Little butterfly <br />Rubs more and points towards her stomach with happiness <br />With ease <br />With discomfort, while he points back <br />And with more emotions as the weeks pass by. <br /> <br />The final moment <br />Keeping the family as a whole <br />A place for nourishment <br />A roof over our heads <br />A nesting for the baby <br />Sound, body, and soul <br />I can rest <br />We can rest <br />and sleep without shame, doubt, or uncertainty <br />Finally a place for our own and baby<br /><br />Ranis Thomas III<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/a-butterfly-s-journey/
