What a clever poem I wrote! <br />Don't you think it's great? <br /> <br />Let me serve you garbage <br />Brightly garnished on a plate; <br />Pile it high with rotten eggs, <br />Tuna fish and slime, <br />Top it off with whipping cream <br />This tasty dish of mine; <br />Now, some of you will love the taste <br />And some of you will not - <br />I guess your education <br />Will determine what is rot <br />And what is pure perfection, <br />It's a simple thing to judge - <br />Some will choose vanilla <br />And the others choose the fudge; <br /> <br />It's a matter of perspective, <br />What you like and what you don't - <br />Some of you'll appreciate <br />My taste, while others won't; <br />But still I'll dish the menue, <br />Serve it up with great aplomb - <br />Though I think it's a clever poem <br />You may think it's a bomb! <br /> <br />8/09/2008<br /><br />Linda Ori<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/a-clever-poem/
