“Have you seen a falling star? ” <br />A stranger asked me eagerly <br />I shrugged on reply <br />I know not star could be fall <br />Cause I put my star on the North <br />Shine a firm light to warm me <br />Close to heaven to passed my wishes; <br />To soothe the unsettled puzzle in my bare mind <br /> <br />“I saw a falling star! ” <br />Exclaim in excitement a man tag me <br />I shook my head and regain my conscience <br />The glitter in his eyes dazzling <br />He gently wrapped his dream and sealed with hope <br />And let it fly back to the sky <br />Yearning to reach the flash in time <br />To granted him the best illusions that life’s posses <br /> <br />“Where’s my falling star? ” <br />A voice of dearly girl echoes in the night <br />Sadly holding her old vanity <br />Walking across the lonely shore <br />Leaving a foot prints on million sands <br />She looks up longing to find the brief light <br />To give her a beep of miracle <br />Before the dawn flooding the sky <br /> <br />“What’s a falling star? ” <br />Is it a bright blessed falling from heaven? <br />Where is it heading to? <br />Will it slipped and dive through the heart? <br />Or just crashed down leaving a scar in a soul? <br />I want to know something so fast and pure <br />Strive against my steady dream up from here <br />I’d like to capture and framed it in my shelf <br /> <br />For years I sail over the sky <br />‘Till I heard the bell up on the hill ring <br />In sweet scent of precious flower from eternity <br />Brought the rainbow within my reach <br />Far too beautiful to be hold or to be loose <br />Yet I draw it by words and colors <br />Can’t hide my passion of knowing the answer <br />“Were you that falling star? ”<br /><br />Niken Kusuma Wardani<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/falling-star-13/
