Dearest God in Heaven, <br />We praise your Divinity; <br />And chant you Holiness. <br />In profound surrender of our human desires <br />And for the forgiveness of our trespasses. <br /> <br />New Monday is here full of hopes <br />As ever in our hearts and minds. <br />We longed for miracles to unveil <br />And pray our dreams will come true. <br />Above all we are happy <br />For the blessings we received <br />From the bounty of your goodness <br />Thank you, Dear Jesus! <br /> <br />As public servants we are fragile, <br />And prone to public criticism <br />For being taken as mere servants. <br />But little did the people know <br />That we are committed & dedicated to our jobs, <br />Ready to work to serve each one the best we can. <br />Help us, Dearest Lord! <br /> <br />As health workers, we are looked up to, <br />By those who seek recovery from illnesses; <br />And become the hope of the poor. <br />But despite, sometimes along the way <br />When deceased multitude came and healed, <br />Still we are treated unfairly and criticized badly. <br />But because we all care so we sustain to dare. <br />Guide us instead of Lord to do more, <br />And render our best services to all; <br />In the glorification of your Godliness. <br />This we ask Dearest Jesus, Amen!<br /><br />Marvin Brato Sr<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/monday-prayer-2/
