Sitting in his cell remembering the night. <br />Smiling remembering his victim. <br />His heart cold and hard. <br />Wishing he had the same cold knife in his hand. <br />Two guards interrupted his peace and took him away. <br />The shackles on his feet and the handcuffs on his wrist made noise while he walked. <br />The guard took him to a room, where people behind a glass waited for his death. <br />He smiled a psychotic smile at everyone showing no regret or fear. <br />He was sat down in a old electric chair. <br />A guard put a wet cloth over his face to hide his expression when he met his death. <br />“ any last words? a guard asked. <br />He looked over by the guard chuckled and said “ not yet” <br />The switch was then pulled.<br /><br />Alex Martinez<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/the-execution-of-a-murderer/
