I have longed been confined <br />To my own room of fantasies <br />Groping for something, <br />Maybe answers or justifications <br />As to what love has become of me <br />The moment my chest throbs, <br />Dances and flies like a dove <br />And the feeling just never subsides <br />The day you came and changed my life. <br /> <br />I used to deny <br />Such existence of emotion <br />Like i never knew you at all <br />Pushing you out of my logical reasons <br />To save myself from unchaste temptations <br />But the moment you cast your shadow <br />To a lonely hand seeking attention <br />Does anybody ever care <br />What is right or wrong <br />Or if i walk the opposite direction? <br />If my heart chooses to be true <br />Who am i to resist my chance <br />to be with you? <br /> <br />But who am I fooling, really <br />With each line and a song <br />Is a soul that hides her real intention <br />This agony of not being with you <br />Vulnerable by the order of life <br />And stolen by chance <br />Now, will somebody tell me, <br />Is everything still worth fighting for?<br /><br />Marie Joyce B.
