my life was once great <br />things were easy for me and going good <br />i had a lot to live for <br />i once had a lot of friends <br />i once was a great athlete <br />i once was an A student <br /> <br />but now things have changed <br />they have changed and are out of control <br />they have all left me <br /> <br />my grades are gone <br />as hard as i try its not the same <br />my sports hit quicksand <br />they slowed to a stop until they were suffocated <br />they were un recoverable <br />what do i have to live for now? <br /> <br />oh how the once great have fallen <br />i cant stop these thoughts that run through my mind <br />thoughts of suicide are getting to me <br />soo much was expected of me <br />and i let them down <br /> <br />its too far to recover now its over <br />now nobody can make a difference <br />looking back at my life there was so much i wanted to change <br />so much i wanted to say, but never was able to <br />now the pain is gone for good <br />now i am at rest with things left unsaid<br /><br />Andrew Olson<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/falling-apart-18/
