Grandparents <br /> <br /> <br />They are there for you when you need them most, <br />When there is advice to be given, they are there, <br />Most of them have been there and done that, <br />And let you find out for yourself and then tell you. <br /> <br />They seem to have been there forever, <br />You can’t imagine life without them, <br />They are some of the worlds’ most precious gifts, <br />To many of us they are like guardian angels. <br /> <br />But most of all they have always been there for us <br />And will continue even after they leave this world. <br />The things that do every day, their habits <br />And even the way they shuffle across the floor. <br /> <br />I am talking about our Grandparents. <br />Without them we would not be <br />They are our past, our present and help mold our future, <br />Remember their lessons for you may be one someday. <br /> <br /> <br />Tim Romines 8/4/2008<br /><br />Tim Romines<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/grandparents-4/
