All in time will pass away <br />swallowed up from view <br />in each minutes click of day. <br /> <br />Nothing to stop the decay or rot <br />of all man collected of the life they got. <br /> <br />Not taking a thing but leaving digs to find <br />for another culture in a future time. <br /> <br />Will they understand what we were back then? <br />or see just the distruction we caused on this God given land? <br /> <br />Will they see the good that was earned by some? <br />Or will they just see all the bad that mankind had done? <br /> <br />The bones of unborn children in unmarked graves <br />marks of distruction on the walls of their caves. <br /> <br />I would hope they see all that was good in man <br />and possibly see, just a glimpse of who I am. <br /> <br />I intend to leave this world a much better place <br />so that future generations can see what mankind did erase.<br /><br />Linda Winchell<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/all-will-pass-away/
