The day I see a purple cow <br />Is the day I will know how <br />Every dog and cow can have his day <br />And it was never another silly say <br /> <br />The day I see a snake stand up straight <br />Is the day I will put up a fight <br />To prove my theory that birds too can crawl <br />And that is the reason the trees are tall <br /> <br />The day I see an alligator fly <br />Is the day I will know why the birds cry <br />They can't see a thing with alligators in the way <br />The birds are building flyovers in a single day <br /> <br />The day I see a hen riding a bike <br />Is the day I am asking for a hike <br />That is when I take home a car <br />I could pick chicks from near and far <br /> <br />The day I meet a fish out of water <br />And especially when it aint a starter <br />Is the day I would shake his fins <br />And tell him how fishy he looks when he grins <br /> <br />The day I meet a man with a tail <br />Is the day I will send god an email <br />Asking him of this world he created in zest <br />He would say'my dear it is only a test' <br />'If only your imagination would sit and rest.'<br /><br />Reshma Ramesh<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/the-day-i-see-a-purple-cow/
