Aurora the dawning <br />The beautiful morning <br />As sun gently shines through the trees, <br />The clouds lit with gold <br />And their colours unfold <br />As they sail through the air on the breeze. <br /> <br />As darkness is ending <br />The sun is ascending <br />And casting its light on the land, <br />What greatness I see <br />As the day comes to be <br />And I capture the scene in my hand. <br /> <br />As the birds start to sing <br />A sweet joy they do bring <br />To the dawn and its marvellous show, <br />As I look on this day <br />And its wondrous display <br />Where my dreams shall eternally flow. <br /> <br />Aurora the dawning <br />The beautiful morning <br />As shadows are lit by the sun, <br />The chorus of pleasure <br />I witness this treasure <br />As now the new day has begun.<br /><br />ANDREW BLAKEMORE<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/aurora-12/
