Standing high on the rocky mountain top <br />She stands mesmerized by the beauty below <br />A sea of trees and fields spread out before her <br />Like the strokes from an ole masters brush <br />Finely painted with textures and colors of nature <br />Sweet Smells waft through the air assaulting the senses <br />Essence of pine meadowland and wildflowers <br />Raising her arms in the air as a goddess in worship <br />Turning her face to the sun, rays dare to kiss her cheek <br />Soft blue dress swirling around her in the breeze <br />Wind caressing her bronze skin tenderly like a lover <br />Birds sing her praises and angels lend her wings <br />Turning to face me, my heart races and falters <br />She smiles, I catch my breathe and gasp for air <br />Her touch is a fire that only she can quench <br />As our lips meet, I am no longer solid mass <br />I am air, water, fire; I am all things for her<br /><br />T.James Becker<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/air-water-fire-2/
