Living by spirit of love everlasting, I am <br />Daily renewed by the action of prayer <br />The world becomes Tutor, it's wonders unfold <br />Enhancing delight in my heart at what's there. <br />In nature, magnificence, awsomely shown <br />As day becomes dusk, with all in between, <br />It is breathlessly ageless, and always bestows <br />To the speechless onlooker every last scene. <br />Showing God in it's pattern of dynamic <br />Power, from sunset to bird, from fish to flower, <br />All throbbing with love and life, to which I too <br />Have continual access, hour by glorious hour. <br /> <br />Agelessness comes when the heart understands <br />The meaning of moments, the power of Now. <br /> <br />The way into the realm of Forever is there, <br />And anyone being aware is endowed <br />With beautiful feelings of bliss, which though <br />Fleeting, leave echoes of happiness, feeding <br />The soul - - contentment, despite trials in life <br />Defies aging years, and fulfills human needs <br />Of reassured love, the ageless heart grows <br />As it constantly knows the reason for being <br />Is found in a heart willing to serve with whatever <br />Small talent is given at birth, speedy at seeing <br />The needs of another and trying to meet them <br />With compassionate love and nurturing care <br />Can only bring happiness resultant from giving. <br /> <br />If we want to be ageless the recipe's there.<br /><br />Fay Slimm<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/ageless-am-i/
