Patches lived and patches died <br />Her life was not in vain, as penniless <br />as a pauper, her wealth of gold <br />lied within her heart <br /> <br />Along time ago, this was written <br />and along with its story lied a real <br />person who gave her life to others <br />to make thier life a little bit happier <br /> <br />So she died of lonliness and <br />poverty stricken, still, her dress <br />of many colours, designed with <br />all the emotion and heartaches <br />that represented each story <br />of her shortend life <br /> <br />If you see the yellow, you will see <br />how she loved to warm other people's <br />heart if you saw the blue you saw <br />the virtue which lied within her soul <br />when red comes to view it reveals flaming <br />fires with rings of orange flame that finally <br />took the blackness to her final destination <br /> <br />Sadly but true, if you look hard, you <br />can find a Patches in every broken <br />heart that walks the streets alone......<br /><br />Bonnie Collins<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/patches-4/
