Feelings cannot be felt from books <br />They are felt for reason not known to mind <br />Mind is not guilty of its reason <br />Because the reason is not derived from the mind. <br /> <br />The beauty of feeling is misplaced, <br />If reason is evident to mind. <br />The mind has a tendency to question beauty, <br />But heart doesn’t need a reason to find. <br /> <br />Emotions do not know why they feel <br />They are innocent as ignorance cannot be guilty <br />That is why, <br />To feel cannot be punished as a crime <br />Because feelings commit crime unknown to the mind. <br /> <br />You don’t have to know something to feel it <br />To know something is not a requirement to feel <br />To feel for reason which is known <br />Is imperfection of emotion.<br /><br />Mehreen Mujeeb<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/illiteracy-2/
