Moonshine! <br />Your son at rest before your arms <br />Amass the tears and the mourning of your child. <br />Embrace me by your breath <br />As I speak to you <br />Of reasons, by your waters I shelter. <br />Caress me in stillness <br />Carry me to the horizon <br />Blanket your infant by your curtain sky. <br />Shield me with your golden eyes <br />From the pale season of the winter <br />Defend my innocence by your spring <br />Before the dullness of your fall. <br />Color the fields of wheat in the summer <br />Conduct the tress being played by the wind <br />As I renew my vow to my dearest <br />As I rise from the bosom of your dust. <br />Hail!
