People who take advantage of me <br /> <br />People who take advantage of me. <br />They walk all over me. <br />Use me to collect money, <br />They think I should just put up with it, <br />And let it happen, <br />And not take action, <br />I feel like they have my guardian ship, <br />Even though they really don‘t, <br />I need to put my foot down, <br />And stand up for my rights, <br />And make them do what is right, <br />I feel like all they are in it for is the money, <br />I have to set here, <br />And just wait for people to show up, <br />But when it comes time, <br />Them I have to set here all day, <br />And if I don’t stand up for my rights, <br />And make them do what is right by me, <br />All it is going to do is build up, <br />And it will force me to do something about it, <br />But I was laying in bed, <br />One night all up set on the phone, <br />And Martha walks in, <br />And asks me who I am talking too, <br />My reply was no one that knows about this, <br />And she said well you know if someone gets, <br />Wind of this that it could cause some one do it prison time, <br />Well it is not my fault, <br />It is not my problem that you are abusing the system, <br />If you don’t have the heart to do this job, <br />Than you need to find another one, <br />A job that you will enjoy doing, <br /> <br /> <br />Written by Nicole Elizabeth Edwards <br />November 12th 2008<br /><br />Nicole Edwards<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/people-who-take-advantage-of-me/
