ANJALI SINHA - *** THANATOS-A DEATH WISH ***

2014-11-08 15 Dailymotion

Moth was asked
by a smiling flame,
“You” ready to play
the alluring game.
A game of death,
cessation of breath.
,
Moth replied fearlessly:
Oh! Dame,
that's the purpose
we are born for,
To die through you,
and reach heavenly shore.
That’s why we grow,
oh! my flickering flame,
That’s why we thrive
oh! my dancing dame,
To die like a gladiator,
in your glorious game.
,
Receive posthumous heavenly acclaims.
We are,
born with THANATOS –A death wish,
To burn in your blazing bosom –A sea of bliss,
To revel in a fiery grotto
of our enticing miss
To hanker,
for your dangerous serpent hiss,
To leap daringly,
in your dark but alluring abyss,
And receive,
your deadly lethal parting kiss.

We come in masses;
To turned in to ashes
But will rise again like a phoenix
To chase one more flame or deadly minx.

ANJALI SINHA

26-11-2008,

(As there are a lot of poems here with this theme of moth and the flame
here's my version. Hope you all will like it.)

ANJALI SINHA

http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/thanatos-a-death-wish/
