while looking up at the stars in the sky <br />i saw a light flicker by. <br />i jumped up startled as to what it could be <br />so i searched the sky very slowly. <br />than high in the sky i saw that light <br />coming down slowly and getting bright. <br />it appeared to be a flight of steps coming down <br />and someone at the top not making a sound. <br />he slowly descended until i could see <br />that it was an angel with wings so large and white. <br />my-oh-my! what a sight. <br /> <br />and as he got to the bottom he said to me <br /> the lord sees so much suffering and aches and pains <br />and he is not the one to blame. <br />man has created this hell on earth <br />there are so many wars in different nations <br />this is only mans creations. <br />why can''t humanity see all it has done <br />that global warming is blocking the sun. <br />i have given you everything that you need to survive <br />but you choose to live a lie. <br />i gave you fruits and vegetables and grain and wheat <br />everything you need to eat. <br />i gave you water for thirst <br />sea creatures and land animals to feed your hunger <br /> did i make a blunder? <br />why can't you enjoy the fruits of life <br />and stop destroying the world i created. <br />with all your technology you still fail to see. <br />that this is not what was meant to be. <br />this world was created to give you all that you <br />could possibly want or need <br />but you choose your selfish greed <br />so before my angels start to depart <br />i tell you this'take heart'. <br />accept all that i have given you <br />before it destroys you.<br /><br />louis rams<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/the-final-word-2/
