Gazing at the mirrored me, <br />I hardly recognize <br />The soul in me, the truth in me. <br />It has been years, <br />Where blissful times had long gone <br />And those momentous laughter <br />Had refused to move on, <br />Leaving me a soul to weep… <br /> <br />Imperfections hammered me down, <br />Or, at least, that was what my heart said, <br />Imperfections. <br />They believed I will be someone, <br />But someone what? <br />They said I have something special in me, <br />But something what? <br /> <br />In my somewhere, sometime, <br />I dwell and dwell. <br />A moment of numbed satisfaction, <br />And then I feel no more. <br />Will I always be trapped in the untruth promises of my psyche? <br />And never to reach out for the stars within my reach? <br /> <br />Perhaps, there is someone, something special deep down. <br />Perhaps, I am fated to veil behind the mask of ignorant, <br />and painful smiles… <br /> <br />That is going to leave me, <br />With a soul, to weep…<br /><br />C.H.
