outside smoking a cigarette looking at the sky. <br />the twinkling of a light caught my eye. <br />i looked towards the heavens to see what it could be. <br />i thought that it was the reflection of a star <br />but this light was greater by far. <br />it seemed to be falling from the sky <br />getting bigger and brighter than i could ever dream <br />and it seemed to hypnotize me <br />as i stood there watching this sight. <br />i began to wonder what can it be? <br />a plane or helicopter high in the sky <br />with their lights searching wide. <br /> as i continued to gaze upon this light <br />there formed such a beautiful sight <br />it was the face of a man with such beautiful features <br />a beard trimmed to perfection, and shoulder length hair <br />with teeth as bright as any star in the sky <br />and his eyes were piercing blue. <br />and as the face continued to come down. <br />i tried to scream but i did'nt make a sound. <br /> <br /> <br />as the face got closer to me, i knew that it had to be <br />the face of god looking down and no love to be found. <br />for love is forsaken and innocent lives are taken. <br />the lives of these unborn children were taken without <br />any thought to the fact that they have rights just like <br />you and me. <br />why is it that we do not see. <br /> <br />if protection was to be used-lovemaking would not be abused. <br />this was the face in the sky asking 'why.'?<br /><br />louis rams<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/face-in-the-sky-asking-why/
