Every one loves- <br />I am convinced of that, <br />it is just that <br />some do it so badly. <br /> <br />Perhaps we should have a Love School <br />so these sorts can practice up <br />on their hugging. <br /> <br />I know it sounds strange <br />but we have some of you <br />that can't <br />or won't do it <br />and when you do, <br />you do it badly. <br /> <br />Oh, you don't notice <br />but kids do. <br /> <br />A half-hearted hug- <br />body awry, <br />commits only a shoulder to it <br />is a hug gone bad <br />and a hug wasted. <br /> <br />The hug where contact is only at the cheek <br />is a hug that doesn't really exist. <br /> <br />So my point: <br />There's plenty of reluctant huggers out there <br />who don't know how bad they are <br />until <br />until <br />someone <br />just for fun <br />lays a real hug <br />on them. <br /> <br />Whoa! <br />They stand back, <br />recoil with awe <br />but give them a moment to think <br />you'll see <br />they'll see <br />'that was kinda nice <br />after all' <br /> <br />So go ahead <br />commit Huggery <br />you might get yourself and others <br />used to it in time. <br /> <br />If not <br />at least <br />you had fun. <br />. <br />Reach out. <br />lay one on me <br />sometime.<br /><br />Lonnie Hicks<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/hugging-school/
