This is for my people who just lost somebody, <br />their best friend, their baby, man or their lady, <br />put your heads real high, <br />we will never say bye. <br />The terrorist not only did the innocent kill, <br />but also dampened our spirits & weakened our will. <br />They went around slaughtering people mercilessly, <br />putting an end to humanity. <br />There were pleas for help & cries of fear, <br />as our country was covered by the reign of terror. <br />As we searched frantically with our tired eyes, <br />wishing our loved one survives. <br />We are nothing without them we realize, <br />as we hope & pray for them to come out alive. <br />In our beds silently we sat & a tribute paid, <br />to the soldiers and the innocent who were shot dead. <br />As the brave hearts continue to our country defend, <br />as they try their best to bring this bloodshed to an end. <br />Our hearts are filled with hurt & despair, <br />as we see blood and bodies everywhere. <br />We all feel so sad and all alone, <br />as we sit & the loss of our loved one's mourn.<br /><br />tanvi damle<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/br-ve-he-rt/
