We were once friends the greatest of them all. <br />When I was down I knew just who to call. <br />You were always there like the brother I never had. <br />Around you it was impossible to ever feel sad. <br /> <br />We had alot of memories and alot of good times. <br />When I said I was okay I was acctually fine. <br />Because with you it was okay it was finally alright. <br />In the darkness you had been my shining light. <br /> <br />But times have changed the good times are gone. <br />Calling you now just seems a little wrong. <br />Its not that I hate you were just yesterday. <br />Our frienship has ended we've faded away. <br /> <br />I'll never know why this had to be. <br />I havent changed Im still me. <br />Maybe it was the new grade or the new school. <br />But talking to you now makes seem like a fool. <br /> <br />Maybe its a new guy and girl thats changed it all. <br />Maybe theres a new boy I always want call. <br />All I know is that times have changed. <br />We may have grown but were still the same. <br /> <br />Just a little girl and a boy with a smile. <br />That made everything in life feel worth while. <br />So as you move on remember me. <br />Remeber us and all we used to be.<br /><br />Silence Dogood<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/all-we-used-to-be/
