Time to flow in a different realm <br />Where life troubles are not interfered <br />All the joy he once had has disappeared into thin air <br />In a land where lives aren’t spared <br />Friends wonder why his joy has washed away <br />Maybe cause life isn’t fair <br />The boy no longer gave a care <br />As his heart bled away slowly his mother once said <br />“His heart leaving trying to camouflage with a guilty smile” <br />But she knew every cloud had a silver lining <br />She wanted to believe him <br />But it was a trick to find him <br />When people around him saw him slowly dying <br />Momma crying…Prophets trying <br />They predicted an evil spirit was within his gem <br />His heart must flourish so the souls can die within his stem <br />His mom told his boy to close his eyes tight <br />So that the prophet could help with all his might <br />When the ritual finished the boy seemed better <br />Color soon rushed back to his body <br />Was life so obscene that death is not serene? <br />Or was an author from above trying to write the closing scene <br />The boy embraced and hugged his mom…his mother asked <br />“How did you survive he said you almost left here? ” <br />She loved him no longer shedding a single tear <br />The boy answered with unquestionable greatness awoke was a leader <br />“Either I’m the strongest one left or I should be punished for trying to steal breath”<br /><br />Leland Wright<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/shadows-covering-the-love-within-the-sun/
