Of course they could care less, <br />As they feed while soldiers bleed! <br />Those who choose their conflcits sit... <br />Sipping on beverages, <br />As patriotism is professed... <br />In the quiet comfort of their peaceful nests. <br /> <br />Not one of them ever offered to defend, <br />With civil duty. <br />But they will sit to wish destruction continues... <br />As they lay on couches, <br />To watch TV on their lazy rear ends. <br /> <br />And when our soldiers come home from war. <br />They are the last to be served. <br />Most of them are ignored. <br />And to keep a peace, <br />While those leech remained bored! <br />Is a slap on the face of democracy. <br />And the ones left victimized... <br />Are those wounded and abused, <br />By those selfish! <br />Who should be the ones despised! <br /> <br />'Why are you soooo angry? ' <br /> <br />Not only am I Black. <br />But as a young patriotic man... <br />I served my country, <br />And that's a fact. <br />And those who sit back getting fat, <br />I disrespect. <br />While those who are sent to war... <br />Risk their lives, <br />To return to their homeland. <br />And receive not even a thank you. <br />But they themselves attacked. <br /> <br />And I have already...as a young man, <br />Experienced that! <br />And these are facts that must be changed.<br /><br />Lawrence S.
