His love is all consuming <br />It lingers and awaits for the moment <br />To be right to pour into our souls <br /> <br />Our Lord sits at the door of <br />Our hearts patiently awaiting to come in <br /> <br />His love consumes that which is opened unto <br />Him welcoming his Holy Spirit within <br /> <br />He uproots that which is evil and vile and unclean <br />Replacing it with good things that only come from God <br /> <br />He will consume our thoughts <br />Our actions and our everything <br />If we bid him come in <br /> <br />For to allow him to consume us is the sweetest thing <br />Mankind can experience <br /> <br />Unlike earthly and fleshly things which can never <br />Satisfy his love fills that place where nothing else can <br /> <br />Man has a one on one relationship with <br />The creator of mankind <br />And all living things when his love <br />Is allowed to consume the willing soul <br /> <br />Tis sweet to be in his loving care <br />Yet many blessings otherwise unknown <br />To mankind shall be revealed <br />To the soul that welcomes his: <br />“All-consuming love” <br />©Copyright 12/09/08 Becky Laprarie<br /><br />Becky LaPrarie<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/his-love-is-all-consuming-2/
