Death, That's all that's going to happen, <br />and then what. <br />What will happen after. <br />People don't stop to show someone they care <br />until something happens <br />They through rose petals on a grave <br />but never give a single rose to them when alive. <br />Who cares what others live by <br />How can peace be given out. <br />Where is the hope that was <br />The peace and love I felt long ago <br />They where never there to begin with <br />Never a single rose. <br />Of course I know that no one will put rose petals on my grave. <br />No one would even come. <br />I am not even a person to anyone. <br />Only an animal that they can abuse <br />Only a toy that they can play with then leave on the streets. <br />Broken and useless again and again. <br />Go ahead and kick me to the side. <br />Go ahead and through me away. <br />It's not like I matter. <br />It's not like I care anymore.<br /><br />Jessica Kissner<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/death-thats-all/
