You came to me with a bright bouquet of, 'Forget Me Nots' <br />So that I would always remember you. <br />You also gave me a bouquet of, 'Yellow Sunflowers' <br />to shine and sparkle my mornings, glistening dew. <br /> <br />You once brought me a bouquet of, 'Morning Glories' <br />You said there were to brighten up my days. <br />And a blossoming bouquet of, 'Moon Flowers' <br />to bring in light of night, with power of beams rays. <br /> <br />You once gave me a bunch of, 'Dandy Lions' <br />saying that their roar would keep away any danger! <br />While you went off to fight a childs make believe war <br />dressed up like a real little Power Ranger! <br /> <br />My Dearest son I have pressed those flowers <br />that you had given me so long ago. <br />And I planted from the seeds they gave <br />a field of your assorted bouquets and more! <br /> <br />Thank you for all the memories my son <br />as I look across my brightly flowered fields. <br />Of all the gifts they too will bring another <br />as I harvest the flowers <br />from a childs innocencent love they'll yield.<br /><br />Linda Winchell<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/all-the-flowers-you-ve-picked-for-me/
