We must fight... <br />With a resistance, <br />Against the darkness. <br /> <br />That stranglehold on faith, <br />Creates obstacles made. <br />Keeping fear accepted... <br />Yet unaddressed. <br />As we collect conflicts, <br />To protect a duress... <br />That stresses without rest. <br /> <br />To isolate in separateness, <br />Has outdated its usefulness. <br />Like wars started to conquer... <br />But leaving a seething that breeds hate. <br />Assuming a destruction brought to others... <br />Raises consciousness, <br />That baits a greatness to become admired. <br />And by who? <br /> <br />We must fight... <br />With a resistance, <br />Against the darkness. <br /> <br />We must choose to walk, <br />In the light. <br />Absorbing the rays. <br />With a wish to reflect them! <br />As if this brightness feeds. <br /> <br />And united as a people... <br />We can free ourselves, <br />From the love of shadows. <br />And barbaric acts kept practiced, <br />To end them. <br />Encouraged by new beginnings.<br /><br />Lawrence S.
