These tears tell a story of mine <br />With my so called little miss sunshine <br />Your tearing me up deep inside <br />And the pain inside me I can’t hide <br />I can’t hold back the tears <br />After witnessing my fears <br />Then you and him shot me down <br />And scattered my wings all around <br />These wounds of mine won’t heal <br />Leaving me unable to love or feel <br />You’ve drained the love out of me <br />At the cost of me being free <br />At least you’re not in sight <br />As I walk into the cold night <br />First you left me dying <br />And now you come back crying <br />You bit me like a venomous snake <br />Leaving me to cry out a lake <br />The venoms mixed with my vein <br />Leaving me broken and insane <br />Its too little too late I have gone <br />After realising you’re not the one <br />I don’t care what you say <br />Please just go away <br />No need telling me you can change <br />I have left now and am out of your range <br />Your not the one and never were <br />Don’t try blaming him or her <br />You haven’t got no one to blame <br />You brought me sorrow and shame <br />Cant you see the anger in my eyes <br />After listening to all your stupid lies <br />Why do you keep denying it <br />After cutting me up bit by bit <br />You have cut me up with a knife <br />Now just stay out of my life <br />You tell me that you need me <br />Yet your with him when I can’t see <br />Never will I be able to fly again <br />Its too much trouble and strain <br />You’ve somehow broken my wings <br />Now I can’t focus on other things<br /><br />Yassar Ali<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/broken-dreams-24/
