I saw today a few brave daffodils, <br />Faces down toward the sodden grassy <br />Woodland patch, . I gently lifted up still <br />Youthful bloom and gazed within. Fantastic <br />Early blaze of Spring looked back. Meeting <br />Both my awestruck eyes and soul, it's plea bid <br />Me enter deep into this flowers' greeting. <br /> <br />Yellows, conjured from the winters' soil undid <br />Their secret opulence and shone, lighting <br />Up surrounding gloom with brightest glowing <br />Song of something new.
