Clouds in the sky on the deep blue horizon, <br />Sail in the wind and are lit by the sun, <br />As white as the snowfall that lies on the mountains, <br />Changing and moving like avalanche run. <br />In circles they're rolling by <br />And different patterns form, <br />For as they pass they rise and fall <br />Like smoke they dance and play. <br /> <br />Clouds in the sky on the deep blue horizon, <br />Vieled in fine silk as they move through the air, <br />Storm clouds like anvils are racing to join them, <br />Bringers of rainfall and darkness despair. <br />The sunlight is hidden now <br />The wind is blowing strong, <br />And thunder rolls and lightning flash <br />The storm then drifts away. <br /> <br />Clouds in the sky on the deep blue horizon, <br />Shining like gold and the wind is now still, <br />Gently they move as they follow each other, <br />Like sheep in the meadow they wander at will. <br />Sunlight now shines once more <br />A rainbow with colours bright, <br />Does arch across the storm that's passed <br />On clouds so dark and grey.<br /><br />ANDREW BLAKEMORE<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/clouds-58/
