Waking up to a dark dreary world <br />the drug is in affect <br />My head has gone off <br />where is this place? <br /> <br /> <br />Darkness all darkness <br />none can see through <br />No bliss, no happiness <br />love? where are you? <br /> <br /> <br />Walking.......walking on and on <br />no beginning, no end <br />The drug is still strong <br />where am I going? <br /> <br /> <br />Powerless I feel <br />something missing, all black <br />I hear nothing, nothing at all <br />but a tiny faint voice <br /> <br /> <br />Eating.....eating, nothingness <br />its strange because I chew <br />The drug is weakening <br />what am I eating? <br /> <br /> <br />Darkness all darkness <br />none can see through <br />No bliss, no happiness <br />My life? where are you? <br /> <br /> <br />feeling.....feeling, emptiness <br />I can never, will never fathom <br />The drug has lost its edge <br />how do I feel? <br /> <br /> <br />The voice is getting stronger, stronger every moment <br />my breath is short, my heart has a flame <br />the blackness disappears <br />my love, life, appears <br /> <br /> <br />holding....holding everything <br />everything with meaning in my heart <br />Holding you, my life, love itself <br />never shall we part <br /> <br /> <br />Lovingly, I look at her face, a pale color white <br />something hit my heart......I cried <br />my hope, my only love has gone <br />has died <br /> <br /> <br />then suddenly............ <br /> <br /> <br />Darkness all darkness <br />none can see through <br />no bliss, no happiness <br />Love! where have you gone! <br /> <br /> <br />Pain......pain, has caught my soul <br />has cut my arms, my legs <br />but no, the pain can never cease <br />till I lay down.......dead <br /> <br /> <br />Death.......death is all I feel <br />the poison in my hand <br />all I need to do is drink, and sleep <br />forever, leaving my nightmare land<br /><br />Ken Suh<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/world-of-darkness/
