Complete <br />is this moment's <br />hush <br />let's not stir or move <br />least it whiff away <br />dissolving <br />one of us from the dream.. <br /> <br />Complete <br />is this moment <br />next <br />when a hand <br />reaches out to test <br />fearful <br />that if <br />no hand <br />responds <br />the dream theory <br />is confirmed <br />and I'll <br />lie awake <br />on my bed <br />again <br />incomplete. <br /> <br /> <br />I hold my hand <br />motionless <br />not wanting to risk <br />dreams and hopes <br />on a finger-tip touch. <br /> <br />But indecision <br />was overcome <br />as I felt <br />a soft brush- <br />no dream this; <br /> <br />last night <br />did happen <br />and was happening <br />because I can <br />hear <br />you <br />breathe, <br /> <br />stir <br />and roll <br />toward me.<br /><br />Lonnie Hicks<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/complete-19/
