He ripped my heart in two halves, <br />No more kisses, hugs or laughs. <br />My heart was one, now it's two, <br />This poem is real and 100% true. <br />I loved him with all my heart, <br />But to get involved wasn't very smart. <br />He was funny, sweet and nice, <br />Now my heart has paid the ultimate price. <br />Tears fell down my cheeks like rain, <br />Every tear keeps reminding me of this harsh pain. <br />I can't stand to see him anymore, <br />I wish I'd go blind so I don't have to see this guy I adore. <br />His smiles, laughs and dimples, <br />Our relationship is now complicated, no longer simple. <br />You were the one, who said, 'we’re through, ’ <br />Why you said that, I haven't got a clue. <br />Now we're friends and we're okay, <br />I wish you were with me, I wish you would've stayed. <br />I miss absolutely everything about you, <br />Especially, the phone calls that lasted 'til two. <br />Now this sad song is ending, <br />It's too bad my heart still needs time for mending. <br />I love you more than you will ever know, <br />But this feeling, I cannot show. <br />I wish things would go back to the way they were, <br />But that won't happen, because now you like her.<br /><br />Tiffany Wolf<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/broken-heart-120/
