Your words so powerful <br />carry a message deep, <br />take the reader <br />to the farthest of Hebrides. <br /> <br />Let me tell the world <br />what you sing: <br />You take the reader away <br />from the blood red scene <br />to the game of peace <br />where the mirth of <br />white snowflakes flings. <br /> <br />From the ‘Bower of Bliss’ <br />like nightingale and cuckoo <br />plaintive numbers too, you sing <br />‘for old, unhappy far-off things’ <br /> <br />May on this peace parched world <br />Your sweet soft words be ever heard!<br /><br />C.
