The birds chirped. <br />The sun laughed. <br />In the blink of an eye, <br />It all passed. <br /> <br />The moon gave light. <br />The clouds showed their might. <br />Then the darkness took over, <br />Blocked it all out of sight. <br /> <br />You, who are with me, <br />Say you know me inside out. <br />Claim you know what I’m thinking, <br />Beyond the trace of a doubt. <br /> <br />Seems as if the dark has taken you over, <br />Taken your ability to see. <br />Or maybe trying to give me an opportunity, <br />To run away….to flee. <br /> <br />But now I’m done running. <br />I won’t flee away. <br />I am holding my ground. <br />Not leaving….I will stay. <br /> <br />You say you know me, <br />I thought I knew the world too. <br />Looks can be deceiving. <br />It will prove itself to you. <br /> <br />You can’t see the tears, <br />Behind this smile. <br />The fear I’m living in, <br />Oh!
