Again and again <br />Human race is being misguided <br />Is it a reality or just a fake refraction? <br />When light pierces the black sky- <br />Only my world is being illuminated <br />Why is it still dark- <br />Where Dollar, Pound and Euro rule? <br />Why light hides herself- <br />From the eyes of the mighty west? <br /> <br />Wake up Kamran! <br />Look around your enlightened soul <br />Listen to the trumpets- <br />Of the embryonic spring <br />That is crying aloud- <br />For the paucity of budding flowers <br />Cautiously hear the chirps- <br />Of the perished sparrows <br />They are moaning- <br />For the lack of water and food <br />And chew the perplexity- <br />Of the soaring minds <br />Which are craving- <br />For more and more <br /> <br />Every morning we wake up <br />And leave the bed- <br />Of heavenly desires <br />To fulfill the appetite- <br />Of our burning stomach <br />Some get the best reward- <br />Of the minor struggle <br />And most remain deprived- <br />Even after bloody perspiration <br /> <br />Then again dark engulfs the dying sun <br />The mighty west gets brightened <br />And the unworthy east <br />Falls into transitory peace <br />Destined to rise once again <br />From the trance of ephemeral dawn <br /> <br /> <br />Feb 19,2009<br /><br />Dr Kamran Haider Bukhari<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/philosophy-of-the-false-dawn/
