When you see a herd of Zebras Being attacked by a lion the lion gets the one it wants and then the rest of the Zebras just stand there watching and dont do anything. <br /> <br />When you go to school you see <br />Others being punished and teased <br />you want to help but thats not your friend being hurt <br />So you decide to turn and flirt <br />It goes on and on everyday <br />and the same action you display <br />Finally that day comes when the new kid <br />speaks up and saves the kid <br />you feel unsure inside <br />but you really have nothing to hide <br />Your just a Zebra in the herd <br />Watching and waiting doing nothing more <br />Everyone does it you think <br />but before you blink <br />your there helping and kid in need <br />now you feel better after doing a good deed <br />Your friends tell you, you did and good job <br />now you feel all happy and want to sob <br />for everyday it happens but your not always there to help <br />We all want something much much more then being Zebras in the Herd.<br /><br />Suzy Paxman<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/zebras/
