I catch the rain drops that are falling <br />I’m looking through the drops, <br />I’m seeing something strange <br />It’s walking then it stops, <br />I’m listening to the music <br />That’s playing in my ear, <br />I’m so fucked up and tired <br />I can’t believe of what I’m seeing, <br />A friend that ones was dead <br />Now is walking in my head, <br />I believe, I think it’s fake <br />But the feeling is so real. <br />He came up like really close <br />Stretched his hand forward, <br />Wearing absolutely zero clothes <br />He said “you look a little hurt”, <br />With my mouth that’s open wide <br />I scream inside my mind, <br />A tear begins to fall <br />I try to give a hug <br />I slip and hit the floor. <br />I light up a cigarette <br />As if to try to concentrate, <br />I see him one more time <br />But this time it’s not fake, <br />He walks up to me and says <br />“Forget the world ways, <br />Forget the things you do <br />And start to tell the truth, <br />Forget the memories you have <br />They never really last, <br />Forget this thing you call your life” <br />And of the cliff he fell. <br />Then a scream that came from unaware <br />I heard it really loud, <br />He said “you have to be aware <br />You’re the fallen angel.<br /><br />thomas coltrin<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/fallen-angel-70/
