(Inspired from 'It Matters To Me' by Faith Hill) <br /> <br />How do i purge the past from my mind? <br />It has proven most difficult i find. <br />Fantasy has gouged my eyes making me blind. <br />But i am still trapped by your one bind. <br />You have not seen your nightly tears from my eyes. <br />But your deep, perfect eyes show no deception or lies. <br />This feeling of defeat I have come to despise. <br />I live day to day with empty energy. <br />I will never be granted my one plea. <br />My time with you always has to be payed a fee. <br />I must have permission or a soul binding decree. <br />So why do i live like this? <br />I cannot remember your last true kiss. <br />Or waking with you in morning bliss. <br />Still like a fool, i remember and reminisce. <br />The lost desire in your kiss would lift me til i would fall. <br />I have hit dead end after dead end...wall after wall. <br />It was your kiss that would softly call <br />Upon my heart.
