Some homes have three bedrooms <br />a pool <br />and four walls; <br /> <br />some have landscaped grounds <br />or are tiny. secluded; <br />small. <br /> <br />My home is mobile; <br />it lies inside your heart. <br /> <br />It was built <br />of candle light <br />and long nights of whispered talk; <br /> <br />soft eyes <br />and touch. <br /> <br />Its shape <br />is that of a hearth, <br />and it dances to the beat <br />of a loving heart. <br /> <br />It has love notes in the mailbox; <br /> <br />central heating for warmth <br />and furnished with <br />loving memories. <br /> <br />All of its bedrooms <br />have been visited by us.. <br /> <br />There are flower petals <br />strewn about, <br />and when we are together <br />our two homes <br />exchange their contents <br /> <br />and become our <br />Mansion: <br />Love's Best.<br /><br />Lonnie Hicks<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/homes-2/
