My past wasn't the prettiest but it was something. <br />Looking back I hated my father. <br />It kind of made me sick to my stomach. <br />When I look in the mirror I saw my father in me <br />I wanted to break the mirror but the 7 years of bad luck <br />And who wants that. <br />My mom tries to make me understand that I can't <br />Hate my father. But why would he leave us? <br />Was he man enough? , Wasn't he my father to teach me? <br />How to be a man? <br />No! To me he was a deadbeat in my eyes <br />A stranger, an outcast from within. <br />Roaming the streets like a ghost. <br />He is heartless and cold from within. <br />Father to death but no heaven for a player. <br />If he was different, if I could made a better father maybe I wouldn't <br />Have hate and anger in my soul or even depression. <br />Maybe that was my grandfather was talking about me becoming a man <br />So I shred no tears for my father ever here for us. <br />All I can do is forgiving. That's all I can do. <br />As my father is roaming the streets I pray that <br />Nothing bad happen to you and forgive you for the pain you have <br />Given my family and myself.
