Daniel went to school today <br />and coming home had much to say <br />about what happened when <br />he played in the sand with all his friends. <br />Sam put sand in Mariam's hair, <br />perhaps Sam thought she wouldn't care <br />but Mariam was in tears <br />and teacher grabbed Sam by the ears <br />with words that is and not with hands, <br />well it only was a little sand, <br />and said to Sam he was unkind <br />must stay inside and could not play <br />with any sand for all that day. <br />Daniel said he was upset with him <br />and with Sam he would not stay <br />for putting sand in Mariam's hair <br />and thinking that she wouldn't care.<br /><br />David Taylor<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/big-news-from-school-today/
