I wonder what kind of world it will be? <br />In the next forty years or so? <br />Will it still be struggling with its deficits? <br />I would really like to know. <br /> <br />Will it have homeless still living in the streets? <br />And poverty the world around? <br />Will it still have drugs and human abuse? <br />Will this be something that’s still found? <br /> <br />I just hope that I leave this world <br />A bit better than where it was before. <br />I wouldn’t like to be looking down from Heaven <br />And know that I haven’t done so. <br /> <br />Will sin still be in the world? <br />Or will the earth not even exist? <br />Will God have come to take all of His faithful home? <br />I want to know all of this. <br /> <br />I guess the things I seek answers to <br />Will just have to be. <br />And continue to just do the best I can <br />Sharing all of God’s love <br />That He’s given to me.<br /><br />Linda Winchell<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/i-wonder-what-kind-of-world/
