any man can be a father <br />but! not every man can be a dad. <br /> (which is sad) <br /> <br />they help to bring you into a life unknown <br />.then at your mother, he throws stones. <br /> he did not think of the ripple <br />effects this would have. <br /> <br />he thought just of his lust <br />and she of him-' put her trust.' <br /> <br />they say a rolling stone gathers no moss <br />i guess with him-it's just a loss. <br /> it's easy to shrug the responsibilities <br />as you can plainly see. <br /> <br />but a father/dad is there at the dropp of a hat <br />to pick up any slack. <br /> he is there to change your diapers <br />and to clean up your mess, <br />this is part of dads test. <br /> <br />he is there when you are sick, <br />and have your first tooth. <br />always there to play games with you <br />after a hard days work. <br /> and listen to all that you have to say <br />this is 'a true dads way'. <br /> <br />a dad is there to wipe away your tears <br />and take away all your fears. <br /> a dad is there at school plays, <br />baseball games, graduations for his child. <br />for he knows that it is worth while. <br /> <br />he is there every step of the way <br />until you are old and gray. <br /> <br />so to this ' i will say' <br />i'll love you my child <br />for always.<br /><br />louis rams<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/a-dad/
