I was observing two people, <br />whom everyone admired, <br />adored, even <br />as the love penetrated all. <br /> <br />And then it came to a stall; <br /> <br />hatred set in, <br />hardness set in.... <br /> <br />bitterness <br />with a twist <br />of love left, <br /> <br />but nested. <br /> <br /> <br />It could have been the beginning of a life. <br /> <br />Instead, cut with a knife <br />of the heart..... <br />whhich tore them apart. <br /> <br />Where did it all go? <br /> <br />He knows, <br />she knows, <br /> <br />and in bitterness <br />they depart <br />into the dark <br /> <br />or into the light. <br /> <br />Who knows which is right.....?<br /><br />Tara McH<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/observations-2/
