GREAT INDEED ARE <br />YOUR WORKS O LORD <br />Now and evermore <br />Heaven and earth <br />Tell of your wonders <br />Your praises my lips render <br />Some find love <br />some find peace <br />and some joy <br />Some others find things <br />which they have <br />never found before <br />And can only <br />now begin to trust <br /> <br />GREAT INDEED IS <br />YOUR NAME O LORD <br />Now and evermore <br />Summer, winter <br />rain or snow <br />The moon the sun <br />and the courses they take <br />Join in all <br />in proclaiming your greatness. <br />When I see the heaven, <br />the marvels of the world, <br />When I see <br />the wonders of the universe <br />What is this man <br />that you should keep him in mind <br />This mortal sinful man. <br /> <br />GREAT INDEED IS <br />YOUR LOVE O LORD <br />You have given me <br />A safe and loving home <br />A family who cares <br />A good job <br />And all those around <br />Who love me a lot <br />You touched me <br />With bows of burning gold <br />You pierced me <br />with arrows of devotion untold <br />with thy spear of love <br />you lanced me <br />And now let burn <br />my chariot of love on fire. <br /> <br />People may look down on you <br />And call you names <br />Maybe they know not <br />Or feel your omnipresence <br />Touch them O lord <br />Let them know you <br />GREAT IS YOUR LOVE O LORD <br />Now and ever more <br /> <br />(This poem is a result of being influenced after hearing a hymn during a religious service) . <br /> <br />Happy Easter to all my friends here on Poem Hunter.
