Where, Where, Where? <br /> <br />You were not there <br />As she lay in fetal sleep <br />Not listening to the soft stepping feet <br />Of that monster-is this another repeat? <br /> <br />Various unvoiced: <br /> Preachers. <br /> Teachers. <br /> Brethrens. <br /> Activists. <br /> <br />You were not there… <br />There but silent <br />There with closed minds <br />The weakest amongst them all <br />The complainers, yet praises! ! ! ! <br /> <br />You can’t be here because you are still there <br />Past deeds don’t die; they live as lies <br />You’re not here because of enslaved <br />Minds chained to old ideas. <br />There, in abhorrence of ones deeds that <br />Exonerates responsibilities from protagonists; but <br />Leaving bad seeds for perpetual pollination by bees <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Almedia S.
